ww2dbaseHauptmann George Tchekhoff, a former Imperial Russian Navy officer who had been living in Belgian since 1918, was briefly the commanding officer of the Belgian volunteer Walloon Legion between Mar and Apr 1942. In this role he participated in anti-partisan and rear area combat support operations in Ukraine.
