LUFTWAFFE PILOTS FLEW UNTIL THEY DIED OR WERE INJURIED:
Staffelkapitan Oblt.Theodor Rossiwall of
5./ZG26 climbs aboard his Bf-110 twin engine fighter. He flew in the Battle of Britain and credited w/five victories and flew 400 combat missions.Flew in the Spanish Civil War, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia,
Greece, Crete and Russia.
Later reassigned to 6./NJG 4 and later was Commander of II./NJG 4. In 1944 he was seriously injuried in a takeoff accident and never returned to operational flying.
