ww2dbaseThe 15 cm Tbts C/36 coastal defense guns were the shore version of the German Navy's 15 cm/48 TBK SK C/36 guns that were used as secondary weapons on cruisers (such as light cruiser Emden) and as primary weapons of destroyers. Although designated as 15 centimeters, all German naval guns designated as such had an actual diameter of 14.91 centimeters. Their rates of fire were relatively slow for warships, but they were adequate when deployed on land in defensive roles. ww2dbaseLast Major Revision: Feb 2010

Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill
