WW2DB's Second Anniversary

29 Dec 2006

As cliché as it might sound, it really feels like it had only been a blink of the eye when I made a post on this day last year announcing WW2DB's first anniversary. Today, the site is still being operated as if it was still my own personal scrapbook for general WW2 history, but the site traffic had been growing at an amazing rate. Take the past week for example, the site averaged 195 visitors a day, which is about twice the average number at this time last year. WW2DB also remained a global site, attracting visitors from the United States, Taiwan, Russia, Japan, Poland, Hungary, India, and Czech Republic, just to name a few countries. The site's content, too, has grown much since last year's numbers at this time:

Aside from the contributions and support from the great team that works with me on this website, the past year also saw the site's first major sponsor, Costantino Contracting Company of Long Valley, NJ, United States; naturally, my most sincere thanks go out to Jack Costantino for his support of this website. In the past year, WW2DB also offered assistance to other research projects as well. Below is a sample of some projects that WW2DB is happy to have helped:

As another year draws to a close, I wish all WW2DB's visitors a prosperous new year, and thanks again for all your continued support!
