B-24E-15-DT Liberator s/n 41-28411 was a Douglas built ship at Tulsa, Ok. Today three B-24s survive as air worthy, others are in museums or being restored.

Identify low flying aircraft , stateside aircraft
carried large numbers on the fuselage sides.
Did you know Hollywood actor James Stewart flew twenty missions as a B-24 pilot. The cost to the US taxpayer for each B-24 was between $297,000 to $336,000 that's 1940s dollars, back then that was a lot of money.
