ROLLING BLUNDER:
Another 1930's idea was the multi-turret tank these lumbering land monsters were heavy lacked mobility and were prone to mechanical break downs. Enter the T-35 these machines looked impressive during an annual May Day Parade, for the Central Committee of the Communist Party.
Total production was 61 vehicles. Armament was 1 x 76.2mm main gun w/95 rounds, 2 x 45mm guns w/225 rounds and 6 x DT 7.62mm machine guns w/10,080 rounds. powered by 1 x 500hp 12 cyl engine. During the opening days of the German invasion against the Soviet Union its been reported that 90% of these vehicles were lost not to enemy action, but to mechanical break downs or for one reason or another abandoned by their crews.
