ww2dbaseThe 15-centimeter schwere Feldhaubitze 13, or sFH 13, heavy field howitzers were used by the German Army in WW1. At the end of that conflict, many of them were given to Belgium and the Netherlands as reparations. As the Germans conquered the Low Countries once again in mid-1940, they were taken by the German Army for service once again, now under the designations 15 cm sFH 409(b) for those taken back from Belgium and 406(h) for those taken back from the Netherlands.Source: Wikipedia. ww2dbase
