ww2dbaseThe German Navy signed a contract with the shipbuilding firm H. C. Stülcken Sohn to build four fast escort ships in Nov 1938. Some work for G3 began in late 1942, but the entire fast escort ship program was canceled in May 1943. The incomplete G3 was broken up between Dec 1943 and Jun 1944.
