Vice Admiral Clarence E. Ekstrom and Admiral Arleigh A. Burke aboard cruiser Des Moines in the Mediterranean Sea, May 1959B-24D Liberator “Lady Be Good” in the Libyan desert over 15 years after it disappeared on its way back from a 1943 bombing raid to Naples. The wreck was not discovered until 16 May 1959.
