ww2dbaseTak Kyonghyong was born in Japanese-occupied Korea in 1920. Adopting the Japanese name Fumihiro Mitsuyama, he studied pharmacy in Kyoto, Japan. In Oct 1943, he was admitted into Japanese Army as an aviation cadet, training at Chiran Airfield in Kagoshima Prefecture in southern Japan. In Oct 1944, he was promoted to the rank of sub-lieutenant. On 11 May 1945, flying a Ki-43 aircraft, he sacrificed himself in a special attack mission off Okinawa, Japan. He was said that he revealed his ethnic identity to the proprietor of the Tomiya restaurant Tome Torihama, who served as a mother figure to young pilots at the Chiran Airfield, one day before his final flight and sang her the Korean traditional Arirang.

plz do not just copy and past from Wikipedia. you just ruined one of the respectful Korean citizens life and history. according to your post I feel like he 'volunteered' to join in Japanese army but actually he forced and threatened by Japanese army to join that horrible team. Again, please research properly before you post someone's life and history
