ww2dbaseMichael Allan Warren was born in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom in 1948. He attended Terry's Juveniles, a stage school based in the Drury Lane Theatre in London. In 1965, he began taking portrait photographs of fellow actors. On 15 Mar 1969, he took photographs at his friend Mickey Dean's wedding with actress Judy Garland; this marked his transition from being an actor to a professional photographer. In his career, he took portraits of many entertainers, writers, politicians, and members of the British Royal Family, including Lord Mountbatten, the Supreme Allied Commander of South East Asia theater of war during WW2.
