ww2dbaseAt the end of the Pacific War, Toshio Aono was the civilian head of the Food Control Department of the Japanese colonial administration of Singapore. By the order of Japanese 7th Area Army chief General Seishiro Itagaki, he assisted in maintaining order of Singapore between the end of the war and the return of the British colonial administration.
