Licensing  Creative Commons. According to the German Federal Archive (Bundesarchiv), as of 21 Jul 2010, photographs can be reproduced with if these preconditions are met:
- quote the "Federal Archives" as source,
- add the signature of the pictures and
- of name of the originator, i.e. the photographer.

The commander is exposed in the open, with field glasses (bionculars) scans the horizon for targets. Once a target or targets are found, he orders what type of ammo is to be used, range and gives the order to fire. The Tiger could hit a target at 1200 meters with the first round Check out that entrenching tool laying on the hull, in the Civilian world, its called a shovel.

It's very likely that this is a tiger of the Das Reich division because it has had it's smoke dischargers removed, a practise that started very early with this division, allegedly due to an incident where they were set off by small arms fire leaving the crew blinded to the enemy.
