Hitler the tax dodger: He spent years evadingtaxes and owed German authorities a total of 405,000 Reichmarks equal to 8,000,000 todaybut his tax debts were forgiven after he cameto power...I wonder how he worked that out?Hitler earned 1,232,000 Reichmarks from hisbook "Mein Kampf", and should have paid about600,000 Reichmarks as income but he didn't.Teachers at that time made 4,800 marks a year. Hitler said he donated much of it to charity for widows, but he didn't.To lower his taxable income, Hitler used manytax strategies that are used today. Hitler'stroubles with the Munich tax office vanished after he took power in 1933.The infamous 1933 Enabling Act gave Hitlerdictatorial powers and also helped win hisbattles with the tax office. The tax officewiped out his 405,494 tax debt.

PORTRAIT OF EVIL: One of the most well known photos taken of Adolf Hitler, his official photographer wasHeinrich Hoffman, who was a Nazi Party Member, survived the war and was later arrested by the Americans he was tried and sentenced to four-years in prison for war profiteering. All his photos were seized by the US, and are now in the National Archives, Washington D.C. Did you know: Every German Household, Business Large and Small, School, Government Office, Military Facilities throughout Nazi Germany had this, photograph, or ones like it hanging for all to see.I wouldn't be surprised if people in Germany carried a small size photo of the Fuhrer in their wallet or purse. WHEN THE NIGHTMARE ENDED: At the end of WWII how many Germans burned, tore up and trashed the Fuhrer's photo how, many were afraid being branded a Nazi who were they frightened of the most the Western Allies or the Russians. Could many Germans really believe Hitler and the Nazis were gone, and the price they paid for following a mad man into hell. COMMENTS DO NOT REFLECT THE EDITOR/WW2DB IN ANYWAY...
