About the so brave nisei soldiers,a little curiosity: they were the first US soldiers in Carrara, 11/4/45 ... All waiting for tall. white, blonde GI ... on the contrary arrived foreign soldiers, not tall and asian faces ... some problems, , not in the city but with some farmers in our mountain areas where, first few months, there were Mongolic troops of German Army ... foreign soldiers, not tall and asiatic faces again !?!
