The P-51B/C Mustangs were armed with four
fifty caliber machine guns. With 350rpg for the inboard guns,and 280rpg for the outboard guns that's 1260 rounds.
The P-51B/C cost $50,900 1940s dollars about 600 B/C Models were built.
