Destroyer Cassin has been slammed into the
destroyer Downes.
Both destroyers were rebuilt, but required
new hulls, the Battleship Pennsylvania
received light damage, despite being a sitting
duck during the attack.
The crane at right was operated by civilian
yard worker George Walters, who during the
attack moved the crane back and forth in a
effort to divert low-flying planes, from the
battleship.
