Famous WW2 Quote
"Goddam it, you'll never get the Purple Heart hiding in a foxhole! Follow me!"Captain Henry P. Jim Crowe, Guadalcanal, 13 Jan 1943

AS AN EX-GI, I COULDN'T IMAGINE FIRING ON MEDICS AND THE WOUNDED UNDER THEIR CARE.
TO ME, THAT ACT WOULD ENRAGE ANY SOLDIER.
SOME ENEMY SOLDIERS DID, FIRE ON AND KILL MEDICS AND THE WOUNDED, WHO COULDN'T DEFEND THEMSELVES. THOSE THAT WERE CAPTURED OR WOUNDED MOST LIKELY RECEIVED NO QUARTER.
