You are right. Further, the lack of a National Insignia on the upper right wing and the lack of white bars on either side of the insignia dates this fairly conclusively as after 1 Feb 1943 and before 28 Jun 1943. The caption date has been adjusted accordingly and thank you for bringing this up.
