Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill

This photograph was taken after M/Sgt Edmonds returned from Europe as evidenced by his Combat Infantry Badge above his ribbons and it was taken shortly after he returned as evidenced by his ribbons not including a World War II Victory ribbon. He is also wearing an Army Good Conduct ribbon, an American Defense Service ribbon, and a European Theater Campaign ribbon with two battle stars. Seen also is the shoulder patch of the 106th Infantry Division, the Golden Lions.
