Mitsubishi A5M4a (Claude) assigned to 13th Kokutai, flown by Lt. Shigeru Takuma. Aircraft is camouflaged in dark brown and green upper surface with light gray under surface, with white combat stripe. Markings red sun disk with white outline on fuselage and wings.
This same Claude 4-122 was in natural metal finish with red tail and horizontal stabilizers, flown at that time, by PO1c Mitsugu Mori, China 1938. Markings red sun disk with white outline on wings and fuselage...
