My German mother was married to a German Paratrooper before she met and married my English father. His name was Fritz Loges and he was killed just six weeks before the war finished which was witnessed by a Farmer who wrote a letter to my Mother telling her how he died and that they buried him in the local churchyard, where he remains to this day.

Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."
