Famous WW2 Quote
"With Germany arming at breakneck speed, England lost in a pacifist dream, France corrupt and torn by dissension, America remote and indifferent... do you not tremble for your children?"Winston Churchill, 1935

ZERSTORT PUMA!
Looks like this Puma has been side-lined parked in a staging area for destroyed and captured vehicles. Vehicle could have been knocked out by allied armor, a mine, fighter-bombers or could have been destroyed by its crew.
Vehicle's tires are missing as well as any of its pioneer equipment, however, those items could have been salvaged.
POLICE CALL: THE JUNK MAN COMETH
After WWII both the wartime allies east and west
salvaged destroyed and abandoned military vehicles some were returned to service others were scrapped This clean up operation continued for years after WWII.
LITTER OF WAR:
It has taken the people of Europe decades to rebuild thanks to the assistance of post-war
American aid in the billions. WWII Bombs, Mines and other Ordnance is still being dug up every day how many decades will it take to clear it all up...
Canvas covers over damaged areas, but I'm just guessing here. Looks like our Puma didn't suffer any secondary fire after being hit or destroyed by its crew.
Did you know after major battles and after WWII local people and farmers in the area salvaged wheels, tires and other equipment to use on their carts and other farm equipment. Today in some places both in Western and Eastern Europe one can still see those salvaged tank wheels and tires still doing yeoman service.
