Famous WW2 Quote
"I have returned. By the grace of Almighty God, our forces stand again on Philippine soil."General Douglas MacArthur at Leyte, 17 Oct 1944

Has Peter our sailor with his ammunition bandoliers, returned from leave? looks like his comrades are glad to see him, maybe he even received a promotion, or did he get married!
Ratings could be Red Fleetsman they ware the standard black naval cap and infantry uniforms short and long double breasted coats, w/M1940 steel helmet.
Both the sailors and Militia/workers are armed w/Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifles in 7.62x54R, w/the long spike bayonet.
Some naval infantry units were also issued the SVT series semi-automatic rifle also in 7.62x54R
The Militia/workers ware different types of civilian winter and leather jackets and caps, one man has been issued a sidearm, I'm taking a guess it could be, a Nagant M1895 double-action revolver, chambered for 7.62x38R, judging from the size of the holster.
The naval infantry had no special uniforms for sailors serving on land. During WWII over 350,000 Red sailors fought on land after WWII this force was disbanded in 1947
During the Cold War, it was reformed as the combat arm of the Soviet Naval Forces.
