Chief Warrant Officer Nubuo Fujita flew his E14Y and bombed the US Mainland in Sept 1942
dropped incendiaries on the Oregon forest, but started no fire, or injuries.
After the war Fujita returned to Bookings, Oregon and was the Grand Marshal for the annual festival in 1962.
