Messerschmitt Bf 110 could belong to ZG 26
carrying long range 198 Imp. gal. drop tanks
The Bf 110's did much better than they had
flying against the RAF over the Channel.

Flying against P-40 Tomahawks However, by
the end of Ausust 1941 ZG 26 claimed over
33 enemy aircraft with a loss of 23 Bf 110's

Bf 110D-3 banking away could belong to one
of ZG 26 "Horst Wessel" Squadrons operating
over North Africa.
They were used as air transport groups, and
had excellent range. The Bf 110D Model could
be used as a long-range destroyer or used as a fighter-bomber.

The Bf 110D-3 was armed w/4x7.92mm machine guns in the upper part of the nose, and
2x20mm cannons in the lower part, the gunner
was armed w/1x7.92mm maching gun and could also be fitted with 500kg (1100) bombs.
