The pilot flying this Messerschmitt Bf 110 must be on a test flight over his home field.He's not wearing standard flying helmet, butthe officer's M-35 flying cap (Fliegermutze) Difficult to tell if he's at altitude, or could it be a staged photograph?, but the question is, why no flying helmet this wouldbe difficult to keep in contact with the field, and other airborne traffic. Anyway this is my guess, but then again againI've been wrong before.
