TO THE RALLIES! RIGHT HERE IN NUREMBERG
Nuremberg was the Nazi showcase of National Socialism, with a cast of tens of thousands.
LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION:
The rallies were the biggest propaganda coup of all time tens of thousands attended give the masses a sense of nationalism.
BIGGER IS BETTER:
It had a theatrical effect on the party faithful and
those who would become party members. Filled with Wagnerian Overtures, Martial Songs, Party Banners, Torchlight Processions, Spotlights, Goose-Step Marches, Bonfires and Fireworks, Loudspeakers and Spotlights. Drums, Bugles and
other instruments.
One can almost hear Wagner's Tannhauser and Rienzi Overtures a true Wagnerian epic!
Did you know that Party rallies were filmed and Hitler's speeches were broadcast world-wide on radio and in television in 1930s Germany.
WHY NUREMBERG:
Nuremberg, the city's past to the Holy Roman Empire held great meaning for the Nazi Party and the city's position in the center of Germany.
Did you know today many of the party grounds and stands still exist in Nuremberg.
