FORMATION FLYING: BY THE BOOK
Second F4U-1 Corsair in flight, is numbered F-27 could be from VF-12 on a training flight off San Diego, California, 1943. Early F4U camouflage was blue gray upper surface and a medium gray undersurface. If anybody has more info post it here, I'd like to read it.
