ww2dbaseKarenko Airfield was located in eastern Taiwan. It was a Japanese Army airfield. It was attacked by American aircraft a number of times toward the end of the war. After the war, the airfield was taken down and the land was returned to agricultural use.

3 Jan 1945 | Aircraft from USS Cowpens conducted a reconnaissance mission over Karenko Airfield, Taiwan. |
1 Apr 1945 | B-25 bombers of US 38th Bombardment Group attacked Karenko Airfield, Taiwan. |
