Karenko Airfield Timeline

12 Oct 1944 Aircraft from USS Hancock attacked the Karenko Airfield in Karenko (now Hualien) in eastern Taiwan; nearly Japan Aluminum Company and Toho Metallury Company industrial facilities were also damaged.
3 Jan 1945 Aircraft from USS Cowpens conducted a reconnaissance mission over Karenko Airfield, Taiwan.
1 Apr 1945 B-25 bombers of US 38th Bombardment Group attacked Karenko Airfield, Taiwan.
