- Submarine USS Bowfin attacked merchant ships at a dock on the west side of Minami Daito. Six torpedoes resulted in the destruction of three ships, the dock, a crane on the dock, and a motorbus on the dock being loaded with personnel. ww2dbase [Bowfin | Minami Daito, Okinawa | DS]
