  • Ottoman ministers signed the Armistice of Mudros on board the Royal Navy warship, HMS Agamemnon, ending the Turkish war against the Allies. Fighting was to stop the following day. The Ottoman capital, Constantinople, was occupied two weeks later. ww2dbase [Moudros, North Aegean | AC]
