Bluegill Operational Timeline

29 Mar 1942 USS Bluegill fired 2 torpedoes at Japanese cargo ship Konan Maru (former British cargo steamer War Sirdar, captured at Batavia, Dutch East Indies in 1942). Both torpedoes hit, sinking her off Ninh Hoa, Annam, French Indochina.
29 May 1945 USS Bluegill landed US and Australian personnel on Pratas of the Pratas Islands (Chinese: Dongsha Islands) in the South China Sea and destroyed the Japanese radio tower, weather station, fuel, ammunition dump, and several buildings. The operation was unopposed as the Japanese had already abandoned the island.
