Chronometer from the German U-505 at the National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington DC, United States, 20 Dec 2018.Bow section of the USS Johnston discovered in 21,180 feet of water off Samar in late Mar 2021 and is believed to be the world’s deepest known shipwreck. The wreck was originally discovered in 2019 by the late Paul Allen’s team.
