US Ration Booklet, May 1945

Contributor:

Recently, WW2DB contributer Bryan Hiatt aquired a US ration booklet dated May 1945 from his mother-in-law. The book itself is glued into a larger memory book alongside other remembrances from her childhood. "That's how it was then. You had to use the stamps to buy certain things. We made due." This booklet, she said, was lost for a period of time and recovered years after the war. This explains the complete first and second ration pages and a near complete third page.
