WW2-Era bomb found near Taipei 101
During renovation at the World Trade Center complex in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, a unexploded 500-pound bomb was discovered at about 0900 hours. It was only about 200 meters from Taipei 101, the world's tallest building between 2004 and 2010. Military personnel quickly determined the fuse to have been deteriorated over the decades and posed no thread. The bomb was transported to the ROC Army base in Hukou Township, Hsinchu County to be destroyed.
