Pages of Alfred Rosenberg's Diary Found

12 Jun 2013

Nazi philosopher Alfred Rosenberg was hanged in 1946 for crimes against humanity, among several other charges. During his Nazi Party career that spanned 12 years, he was entrusted by Adolf Hitler to conduct matters in regards to racial purification and political indoctrination. On 9 Jun 2013, it was learned that 400 pages of Rosenberg's diary had been found. This set of documents might provide fresh insight on top Nazi leaders such as Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Herman Göring, Rudolf Heß, and others. An official announcement (to be jointly made by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Justice, and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum) about this recovery is expected later this week.
