ROLLING THUNDER, TIGER 331 ON THE PROWL:
Could this Tiger be from sPz.Abt101, 1st.SS
Division, Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, SS-LAH
This unit lost 107 Tigers and Destroyed 500
Allied Tanks & Armored Vehicles.
Wars end, the 1st SS was down to 57 Offices, 229 NCOs, 1,296 men and 16 Operational tanks.
The LAH Standard was captured by the Red Army
in 1945. It is now located with other captured standars at the Central Armed Forces
Museum Moscow, Russia.
