Tractor Factory obscured by smoke. North building and curving railyard (beyond it) can be seen. Spartanovka is in foreground.

Correction: The settlement in the foreground is Traktorstoia; Spartakovka is not in view--it is off to the left.

The Modern Day Location mistakenly specifies a the Spartanova neighborhood northeast of the Tractor Factory. In the satellite image look southwest to the area of the factory: the rowed housing seen beyond the factory is there; also the factory's north building and curved tracks; also the (bright white) E-shaped building seen in the foreground of the factory.

A similar view is online in a panorama; search under "Stalingrad Aerial Scans" and select GX2032SK-038; an overhead view is GX1915SK-253; a sharp view of the Tractor Factory is GX1137SG-040.
