Adolph Hitler ordered the renewed use of the
Iron Cross in 1939, and superimposed the
swastika on it,the core of the medal was made of Iron.
Following World War II,the symbol as issued
during W.W.II, was prohibited in what was now West Germany. In 1957 rules were relaxed and men who were eligible were re-issued with
a "Politically Correct" version, without the
swastika or 1939 on the medal.
The Iron Cross symbol is firmly established in German History.
Originally conceived as an award for acts of
bravery, the Iron Cross also became a National
Symbol used on Flags and military aircraft during World War I.
Since 1956 it has been the emblem of the
Bundeswehr and it is also the making for the Aircraft of the Post-War Luftwaffe.

ALL IN THE FAMILY:

Heinrich Himmler, Chief of the SS, had his
loving nephew, SS 1st Lt.Hans Himmler demoted
and sentenced to death for revealing Classified SS Secrets while drunk.
The death sentence was commuted, and poor Hans was sent to the Russian front just being
sent to the Russian front was a sure death sentence.
Later he was once again charged with making un-nazi and derogatory remarks about the regime or was it about Uncle Heinrich? Hans was sent to Dachau Concentration Camp, where he was finally liquidated and marked as a homosexual

AND WHO SHALL GUARD THE GUARDS:

Dietrich and Himmler are wearing their dress uniforms, for the Fuhrer's Birthday...let's see who's dressed the best.

LOOK STRAIGHT AHEAD, BUT NOT AT ME:

Looks like Dietrich and Himmler are wearing their best all Black SS uniforms.
What's Dietrich wearing?, rank is that of an SS Oberguppenfuhrer, w/oakleaves on collar, also wearing older pattern steel helmet, brown shirt w/black tie, white belt w/cross strap.

On his right breast pocket is the Blood Order Medal/Ribbon, on his right sleeve is the SS-Old Fighters Chevron authorized for SS members who joined the SS or NSDAP before January 1933.

Across his chest is the Aiguillette braided in silver bullion, and worn with dress uniforms, left sleeve is Nazi Party armband along with cuff armband lower sleeve, neat looking white gloves and jackboots.

Hitler is wearing his brown party uniform
with white shirt and black tie, Nazi Party Badge w/Iron Cross, with Nazi Party armband and black jackboots.

Himmler's rank on collar tabs is that of Reichfuhrer-SS, brown shirt w/black tie and what looks like a Nazi Party button on his tie.
He's wearing older pattern steel helmet, but he shined his up.
Black belt w/cross belt and the Blood Order Medal/Ribbon. Himmler also has the SS-Old Fighters Cheveron, Nazi Party armband and cuffband he has his white gloves too with jackboots topped off with a swagger stick.

SS-insignia are taken from Teutoric Myth, the
SS-runes are taken from Teutonic Knights, of the early middle ages. The Death's Head insigina is taken from the Prussian Death's Head (Totenkopf)

SS-RUNES:

The SS-rune insiginia on the helmets and on the right collar tab, were created in 1931 by Walter Heck who was at that time a Sturmfuhrer-SS/Assault Leader,(Major) the SS runes became one of the most recognized insigina in the world.

join the army during WWI, and served as a cadet clerk with the 11th Bavarian Infantry Regiment.

THE KILLING BUSINESS:

Reichfuhrer-SS Himmler was in charge of the
concentration and labor camps, he alone answered to Adolf Hitler.
