Sadly, the picture shows another group: a revolutionary Spanish p.o.w. held by two Italian guards. All the picture series taken by H.G. von Studnitz and shown in the present website present Italian units of the CTV (Corpo di Truppe Volontarie), not Nationalist Spanish troops (the difference is important).
