my dad arnold. r lycksell was on the spencer in alaska in 37 i have alot of pictures of the ship i rember him telling me what an adventure it was being aboard her alaska looks alot different know comparded to 1937 in 39 he was transferd to the uss dickman where this ship would go on to be in 5 major invashions the coast gard is more than just garding the coast god bless the coast gard
