Every now and then I will log on to the internet and look and see if there's some database that I can find out who owned my Luger, seems like it's always the same story, nope
I guess if a Soldier brought one back himself and took it from a Nazi you might, it would be cool to find out who owned mine, has German army markings from WW2 . I guess a lot of the records where destroyed, hopefully someday we will find a way to trace some of these WW2 Models to there owners, or I wonder if it's issued by army maybe there is no recorded owner, who knows

I have my grandfathers Luger. He road with Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders. I have been told that wasn't their weapon of choice but somehow my grandfather had this in his possession. I have the serial number and would like to find it's place of origin. It is a PO8 and the serial number is the same and all the parts. Is there a place or places I might be able to find history for this Luger?
