These are troops of 35th Infantry division ordered to reinforce the 29th and 30th Divs around St Lo, 10th July 1944.

The stamp may be backwards but the M-3 halftrack is laid out correctly. When you see a photo of a Panther or Tiger 2 tank with the machine gun on the wrong side of the hull, you can bet that its printed bacwards. :-)
