The fourth man sitting on the ground is a picture of dad s/sgt Bernard Bieker, his 47 pound radio is sitting on the ground in front of him, dad was with the khaki column. Looks like my oldest brothers high school picture

The man at center, standing with legs crossed, holding reins of mule, is my father, S/Sgt George O. Blazier (Merrill's Marauders 3rd Battalion, Orange Combat Team, Co. K Weapons Platoon, to get as specific as I can!). I know this not only as my father's classic stance, but because this photo appeared in a government publication just after the war, and he pointed himself out in it many times.
