One if a pair of 75s sent by Brigadier-General Frank Merrill to support Galahad force. The guns and their crews arrived at Hsamshingyang in early April and were soon in action in support of the 2nd Battalion. They were manned by a detachment of gunners from the 98th Field Artillery Battalion from New Guinea. Note that the normal wheels with pneumatic tyres have been replaced by local wooden ones.
