Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill

I say, doesn't that look like David Niven up ahead "By Jove!" it is. Those Commandos are chasing jerry all right, good show..
Major Gen. Rod Keller led his 3rd Division during the initial assault on Normandy. Moved inland and fought SS-troops he was wounded on August 8th,1944.
Popular with his men but he was frank with his Superiors and Staff Officers. Later he was relieved of his command, and held no further command in WWII. He died in 1954
Did you know:
The British actor David Niven was a Sandhurst
graduate and a Lt. Colonel in the British Commandos in Normandy June 6, 1944.
By Jove: British expression for surprise!
