Admittedly, it's not a lot, but hopefully it will help.

I was sent a link by Seattle Marines on facebook, to your picture captioned "US Navy corpsman tending to a wounded US Marine, Okinawa, Japan, May 1945; note rifle as makeshift plasma holder.
I hope you can you help me. I am trying to find as many pictures as I can of Corpsmen during the Battle of Okinawa doing their job saving Marines? My Dad was a PH2 at the battle and was in the first group of Marine occupation force in Japan after the end of the war, and was there till the end of his enlistment in 1947. The above picture is not of my Dad, and I am trying to find any photos which he might be in.
My retirement ceremony after 41 years in the USNR, will be this November and I would like to find some pictures to display at my ceremony of my Dad doing his job in Okinawa or in Japan.
On 7 January 2018 I posted a story my Dad and myself with a photo on "Naval Hospital Corpsman" facebook page.
Thank you for your time and help.
