This is Doolittle Crew #3 (third to fly off Hornet). L to R they are: Lt Charles J Ozuk (Navigator), Lt Robert M Gray (Pilot), Sgt Aden E Jones (Bombardier), Lt Jacob E “Shorty” Manch (Co-Pilot), Cpl Leland D Faktor (Engineer/Gunner). All survived the mission after parachuting into China but following his parachute landing, Cpl Faktor walked off a cliff in the darkness and was killed. Capt Gray was killed in action in India in 1942 but the other three survived the war.
